Sukhadia’s
I think any photographer will tell you that repeat clients are a joy. Apart from the obvious stability they offer, it’s fun to work with the same people again, getting to know them better with each visit — doing a deep dive into their business and figuring out how best to tell their story visually.
Sukhadia’s contacted me recently to refresh images for their catering menu, and I jumped at the chance to work with them again. They knew exactly what they wanted from the photos and everything was spreadsheeted out (Is that a real term? Well, it is now.), making the two-day photo shoot flow like water. They had a variety of small dishes, mostly Indian cuisine, but also a some pizza options and a delicious Mexican spread with nachos and some truly spectacular salsas.
Like I do with most restaurant clients, I traveled with lights and a small collection of vinyl backgrounds so we could swap out settings to highlight each dish. It was wonderful to see everyone again, and I got a tour of their gorgeous banquet facility next door that has me seriously considering renewing our vows sometime, just to enjoy a big blowout party with fabulous food.
